(2) Stretching The elongation at break of most perfluoroelastomers is between 120% and 170%. When installing the 0-ring, you must pay attention to the elongation data to prevent the 0-ring from breaking beyond the elongation at break. Generally speaking, the stretching degree of the installation of 0-ring should be controlled within 50% of the elongation at break. If it is difficult to install, the 0-ring should be softened in hot water and installed correctly. The method can avoid the damage of the seal.
